WCC members can reset their Microsoft 365 password with Microsoft Entra Self‑Service Password Reset (SSPR) using the following steps:
Step 1: You must have at least one authentication method registered (mobile phone, alternate email, or Microsoft Authenticator) at https://aka.ms/MFASetup.
Step 2: Navigate to https://aka.ms/sspr
Step 3: Enter your WCC email address (example: [email protected]) and complete the CAPTCHA.
Step 4: Select Forgot my password.
Step 5: Choose your verification method (text message, phone call, authenticator app, or email) and complete verification.
Step 6: Create and confirm a new password that meets WCC password requirements. See below for guidelines and security reminders.
Step 7: Sign in using your new password once the reset is complete.
WCC Password Creation Guidelines
- Passwords must be at least 8 characters long (12+ characters strongly recommended).
- Passwords must include at least three of the following: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.
- Do not use your name, username, badge number, plant name, or company name.
- Do not reuse previous WCC passwords or passwords used on personal websites.
- WCC strongly recommends using a long passphrase sentence without spaces.

Security Reminders
- Never share your password with anyone, including WCC IT staff.
- WCC IT will never ask for your password by email, phone, or text message.
- If you believe your account may be compromised, reset your password immediately.
- Multi‑Factor Authentication (MFA) is required for many WCC systems and greatly improves security.
